Education for girls in America
The United States is ranked #36 in the world for educational equality. In other words, this means that girls in America are not guaranteed as much as an education as those in other countries
In order to change this, we can start by being more proactive in putting policies in place to invest in educational opportunities for girls. For example, we could create more opportunities for girls to study STEM fields. We could also make sure that girls have access to digital and financial literacy and entrepreneurship programs.
We could start by making the changes ourselves. We could also donate our time and money to organizations that support girls’ education and encourage others to do the same.
One good way to do this is by donating to Girls Who Code, a non-profit organization with a mission to teach computer science and coding skills to high school-aged girls.
Good post.
