1. Indian Institute Of Science (Bangalore)
According to the National Institutional Ranking Framework, the name of Indian Institute of Science Bangalore comes at number one in the list, it is the first university in India to be ranked number one on the table by 91.81 points in 2021.
The Indian Institute of Science was established in 1909 with the support of Jamshed Tata and is also known as the "Tata Institute". It was granted deemed university status in 1958 and Institute of Eminence in 2018.
2. Institute Of Chemical Technology (Mumbai)
The name of Mumbai's Institute of Chemical Technology comes on the second number of the list, it is one of the big and beautiful university of India, this university always stays at number one and sometimes two, so it is the most popular university of India.This university has been placed at number one with a score of 87.58 points till December 2021.
Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT) Mumbai, this university imparts training in the fields of chemical engineering, technology and pharmacy and is focused on research. The Institute of Chemical Technology was established in 1933 and was also granted deemed university status in 2008.
3. Jawaharlal Nehru University (New Delhi)
Number three is the Jawaharlal Nehru University, better known as the JNU, which was established in 1969 in New Delhi. It is a public central premier research university. It was named after Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru. This university has got a score of 86.45, due to which it is at number three, before it was second in 2016 and after 2017 its rank declined and in 2018 it was ranked number eight.
4. University Of Hyderabad (Hyderabad)
According to the previous record, the University of Hyderabad was at number six in 2020 and in 2021, it has jumped and has kept its position at number four with a score of 85.45, although Jawaharlal Nehru University is also on the same score in the National Institutional Ranking Framework. According to the University of Hyderabad will remain at number four.
The university was established in 1974. The University of Hyderabad has more than 5,000 students and 400 faculty in its residential campus.
5. Tezpur University (Tezpur)
Tezpur University established in 1994 which was established by an Act of Parliament in Assam. With a score of 84.31 points, he is placed on the table at number five in 2021.
6. University Of Delhi (Delhi)
Delhi University is a collegiate public central university created by an Act of the Central Legislative Assembly in 1922. This university is more popularly known as (DU). The university has been placed at number six with a score of 83.19.
7. Banaras Hindu University (Varanasi)

And the number of students living on campus is believed to be more than 30,000. It is a collegiate central university. It was established in 1916 by Maharaja Darbhanga Rameshwar Singh.
8. Indian Institute Of Space Science And Technology (Thiruvananthapuram)
The Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology was inaugurated on September 2007 by Madhavan Nair, Chairman of ISRO. It is the first university in Asia devoted entirely to study and research. At present number eight remains with a score of 78.82, it is located in Kerala.
9. Birla Institute Of Technology & Science (Pilani)
Is at number nine. Birla Education Trust Established in 1929 it is placed with a total score of 76.85 This intermediate college became a degree college and later offered postgraduate courses.
10. Aligarh Muslim University (Aligarh)
The last and number 10 is Aligarh Muslim University, keeping this university at number 10 with a score of 76.62, it was established in 1875 by Sir Syed Ahmed Khan. It has been placed close to 801 in the QS World University Rankings, this data was given in 2021.
